HOUSE KUPENDA

Personal Work,  for African House Competition by Archstorming,  2020

in collaboration with Arch. Jasmine Amayou

The proposal for the future Jorejick family’s house is designed in the balance between a courtyard house, with a protected core relating to the sky, and an opening to the near landscape view, which aim consists in offering a link with earth and what belongs to their lives.

As the wind flows into the trees in the same way family’s people move inside and outside the house without limits.

The family life has always been about community and shared spaces and time, that’s because we’ve thought about some interstitial common spaces where all family members can meet besides the standard areas.

House Kupenda puts the attention on the connection between man and nature.
